The National Autonomous University of Mexico has has 14 High Schools, nine in the National Preparatory School system and five in the Science and Humanities College system.

The National Preparatory School, as part of the Mexican educational system and the preparatory level at the UNAM is committed to meeting the challenges and satisfying the needs of the University and of society by offering a model of education at the High School level.

The Science and Humanities College (CCH) has five campuses that offer a high school education in six semesters. The CCH promotes independent learning since students are actively involved in their learning process.

Program of Weather Stations in the University High Schools (P.E.M.B.U)
The objective of this program is to carry out atmospheric monitoring in Mexico City.

Students participate in the program by gathering and analyzing atmospheric variables, generating reports and carrying out other related activities.
